Who we are
Shooting Stars Youth Football Club ("the club") is responsible for the personal data described here.

| Medical conditions and allergies | Keeping your child safe at training and matches | Your explicit consent and vital interests |

| Passport-style player photo | FA and league player registration only. Never published. | Contract |

Each consent is recorded separately with the date and the version of the policy you agreed to. You can withdraw an optional consent at any time in the portal.
Who can see it
Only people who need it: your child's coaches see their team's players and emergency details; medical details are limited to coaches of your child's team and club administrators; the treasurer sees fees and payments. We share registration details with the FA and our league as their rules require. We use Amazon Web Services (UK/EU) to host the portal and send email, and Stripe to take card payments.
How long we keep it
Player and family records: up to 2 seasons after a player's last season. Payment records: 6 years for accounting. Website enquiries: 12 months. Audit records: 6 years.
Players with their own login (ages 13 to 17)
A parent or guardian can give a player aged 13 to 17 their own login, using the player's own email address. We keep the player's name, email and when they sign in. The player can see only their own training and matches, team announcements and registration status, and say whether they can make a session. They can't change details, pay or see other players. Parents can see everything the player sees and can switch the login off at any time. The club never sends private messages to players. The login ends on the player's 18th birthday.
Cookies and analytics
We use a few cookies the site needs to work: one keeps you signed in, one protects forms, and ss_consent remembers your cookie choice.
With your permission only, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find the site. It sets _ga cookies and sends Google the page address (with personal details and links removed), browser and approximate location. We never send names, email addresses, phone numbers or anything about your children, Google Signals and advertising features are switched off, and Google keeps the detailed visit data for 2 months (the shortest setting it offers). If you choose "No thanks", nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can see and correct most details in the portal. You can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it, by contacting the club. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
